The landscape has long been a source of inspiration for artists, representing both the natural world and the human experience in it. In my work, the landscape serves as a metaphor for the sense of openness and freedom.
Letting go is a deeply personal and intimate series, which allowed me to form my own identity and relationship with the world around me. By placing myself within the landscape, I began exploring my place within the natural world. Driven by my newfound freedom after leaving the military, I was able to create this series of self portraits. Which serves as an expression of my journey towards letting go of the past and embracing the future.
